HAD TROUBLE WITH MY iPad CHARGING UNTIL I GOT THIS CHARGER….IT HAS A ‘LOCK’ THAT HOLDS THE CHARGER IN THE CHARGING DOCK. THAT MADE ALL THE DIFFERENCE…I WAS UNABLE TO CHARGE MY iPad AFTER 4 TRIPS TO THE APPLE STORE…THEN IN DESPERATION ORDERED THIS…IT IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIC

This product has an output of 1 amp (1000mA), which is completely inadequate for an iPad. It works great for an iPod, but that’s not what I bought it for.
